Second, the initial stages of a case involve obtaining such an order. Third, the amount of child support awarded to a parent can impact an alimony award, and vice versa. Finally, if parents fail to cooperate and follow the Court’s mandates, after the case is complete, then the parents are likely to find themselves back in Court.
